    225/45-16 on 7Jx16 without rolling?

    Question:
on a stock 318iS, lowered with the H&R OE sport springs, will 225/45-16 on 7Jx16 (Kopi Alpinas) work without rolling? I'd really rather avoid having to use violence on the fenders and I'd REALLY LIKE the 225 rubber to avoid having a straight-line-only car.

Depending on the offset you should have no problems. I am running 225 width with ET20 wheels on 2 different cars.

It'll be close, but it will make it.

Sorry, I just noticed the fitment thread, I apologise. ET is going to be 20, I understand, yes. Will I even be able to keep the front fender liners?

Of course, you won't need to do anything at all to the front of the car. The questionable part is the rear fender lips, but as I said it should be fine without rolling.

Thank you sir, much appreciated. I'll keep everyone posted.. I'll actually have an ENGINE in this by the end of next week, it appears. Started in June 2006... I think this beats SEVERAL records.
