    Trying to find wheels...

Right now I am looking at wheels for my '89 325i. I like 17" but I think they might be too big. I am sort of set on gettin 16's. I found some nice looking ones that are 16X7 with 37mm offset. I am unsure of the center bore size. The tires that come with are 205/40's. Will this set up work well on my car after being lowered about 1.25"-1.5"? Or will I need to get spacers? any advice is much appreciated.

205/40/16 will NOT work, way too damn small.

215/40/17 is great or 225/50/16 if you want a "meatier" look.
