    Who is using all-season tires?

    Especially on 17s?

    Anyone?

Found some locally for a good price but I have never used anything other than performance tires before. These 17's are UHP all-seasons.

i have all seasons on my 15's and too be honest i wouldnt even bother getting them. it really doesnt even make a difference unless you drive in snow, but then again non-IX e30's suck in snow. You will end up wondering why you bought all seasons in the first place. But if your not big on taking corners fast and just need tires to throw on then it shouldnt be that big of a deal to to put on all seasons.

its a temp thing. Summer tires are made for use when the temperature is higher. While winter tires are made for when the temp is below 40? Can't remember exactly maybe some tire guru can chime in. All season tires are a comprimise between these two ratings. They dont do as well in winter as winters or wamer weather as summer, leading some to call them "no season tires". I run them as daily driver tires and they are fine for commuting and such. I would't take them out on a track or autocross with them though. Its all on what your going to do with them, they will probably be fine for daily driving and taking freeway ramps faster than you should.

Where do you live? If you live in Florida you can probably run summer tires year round I would guess.
