I too am running 16x9 et15 with 15mm spacers all around.

YOU NEED to roll/pull/smash the crap outta fenders to get a 215/40 tire to fit.

You can rock coilovers set at the lowest setting. I daily drive mine through socal (horrible roads) and its fine... just the driveways can be tricky, but you get good at parallel parking.

      I have 225/40/16's on a 16x8, a 215 tire on a 9" rim would definately stretch. And it's nowhere near enough tire for a turbo m30.

If you have to run 10mm spacers to clear, I say HARD rolling/arcing and 245/35 toyo t1r's. It'll be pretty undersized (a whole inch shorter than stock) which should hopefully help fender clearance. If it still rubs, you can always add more camber, hopefully you dont hit your fenderwells.

225/40/16 on a 16X8 with good offset should be perfect

So many things to think about. I have 16x8 et 20 w/225 45 16 and I rub the inner fender under hard acceleration. Yes fenders are rolled. I can imagine when I go boost!

Do a 8 or 8.5 inch wheel and put 245's all around. A 9 inch wheel is too wide to fit big tires on on an e30. Ask Jay for the best offset.

I think im going to get fender flares for the car. If I do a 16X9" with ET15 could I run a large enough tire for traction? Is so what size? Will I need spacers for the front?

245/45/16 on the back = traction

You will need spacers on the front to clear the struts. 5mm is enough.
