Basketweaves refinishing....Paint or powdercoat?

    Basketweaves refinishing....Paint or powdercoat?

    Just picked up a set of baskets, they are in good shape as far as curbrash but need to be refinished.

    #1 question - is sandblasting/beadblasting OK?

    #2 is powdercoating worthwhile?

    sand down the lip and polish the lip ...... ive painted rims with just wheel paint and ive got 2 years on them and the finish is still great looking

      media blasting is supposed to be the best for wheels. I would just paint them, they are just basketweaves and powder coating is relatively expensive.
