Help me choose my next tire!

I have quite a few I'm looking at now.

I'd like some input on each of them :D

    Thanks!

    Falken Ziex ZE-512: http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...64&rd=14&ar=60

    Sumitomo HTR H4: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....e1=yes&place=3

    Hankook Ventus: R-S2:http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....e1=yes&place=0

    Goodyear Eagle GT-HR: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....1=yes&place=12

    Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....1=yes&place=13

The tires will be mostly for spirited daily driving and once in a while some runs in the twisties by the lake.

I currently have 195/60/14 all around but I think I could squeeze a 205 onto my rim. (Not sure what size it is.)

That being said, help me choose my next tire :)

none of the above. if you have stockies 205/60/14 is as big as I'd go but there isn't much selection in that time.

195/65/14 you can get ziex 912's for 50 a pop at edgeracing. IF you want tires that last forever yoko h4s are 64 at tirerack. Sounds like you don't need summer tires, high performance all seasons should work for you and those are two good cheap options.

Well I dont have stock, I have some strange aftermarket that I'm not sure of the width.

Anyway to check with the tire on the rim?

Did you see the long tire thread?

You need to list what exactly you are looking for in your new tire.... grip, comfort, long use, price, all season ???

Well I figured since I gave you a list it would be alright.

I just want some insight, I don't mind a bumpy ride and I want some all season tires that will last awhile that are decently priced but good quality.

            Still too vague.

            Prioritize this list:

            Dry traction
            Wet traction
            Hydroplaning
            Handling/Response
            Ride quality
            Noise
            Treadwear

I just ordered the Hankooks, heard nothing but good about them, and that they are good in the rain too

100% choice: Falken RT-615. Yes it's slightly undersized, but it is the only 14" tire that will suit your needs. The Hankook R-S2 is close, but can't touch the Falken for what you want.

How long are they going to last? Mileage wise?

I think I have almost 2 degs camber in he rear and about 1 up front?

They have a low treadwear rating, but I've been running mine since last summer and the tread still looks great. Not that that is worth anything to you unless I come back with some actual measurements.

But if you really want to have fun on your stock wheels, these tires are plenty bang for the buck. They aren't too pricey, so if and when they to wear down, buying a replacement set shouldn't be an issue.

And definitely plan to invest in some camber corrective mods. If not, rotate them regularly.

I have Yoko ES100 in 205/60 R14 on stock weaves. 205/60 R14s are actually smaller in diameter than the stock tires, but only by .3", which is fine.

But, there are far better tires than ES100 especially if response and dry traction are at the top of your list of priorities. They do look good though.

I've had rt615s since last year, including a full autox season (about 24 events, 4+ runs each), have maybe 10-12k miles on them and they have plenty of thread still left. I rotate them front to back every couple of months.

Where can I get a look at the 615s?

                            Tire rack doesn't have them?

edgeracing.com or vulcantire.com for good prices...

search and compare (dont forget to add cost of shipping, and keep in mind some places do shipping free (tires.com))
