    WORK VS-XX Colors?

    Hey guys,

What color works should I run - if I run them?

The car is going to be very black. :)

I like the gold (but it seems common)
I like the silver (but it seems plain)
I like the chrome (but it seems ghetto)
I like the black (but it hides the detail)

    Thoughts?

To what extent is this car black? If you don't have MHW tails or turns you should go for silver. These look sex in gold, but a lot of people are running the schwarz + gold centers + silver lip look. From one schwarz owner to another, I'd rock the black with silver lip.

I do not have MHW tails - yet. Everything but the kidneys on the car will be black. I am still hunting for a set. I am trying to get some sample pics to see. I will see what I can build.

Black on black is nice - i just do not want to loose the sex appeal of the spokes.

I hear you about the losing the spokes in the darkness. Damn I hope your car doesn't end up too similar to mine...I'm running euro trim, MHW turns, and will be on the market for MHW tails pretty soon too. I'm going vader on mine with the exception of the kidney so I'd rock the black with silver lip. If there was gunmetal I'd be all over that since I have gunmetal centers + silver lip on my weaves.

Well damn, since you're only 2 states away it would be cool to compare them sometime.

I love mine in gold, but to each his own. They suit each individual car differently so its just personal preference. How many people have the VS-XX's now? I know I was one of the first to get them on a non-m E30...

You should do it matte gunmetal like these on my friend's is350.

Here they are mounted on his car:

                      Don't do gunmetal...that's what I said I'm doing! ;)

Go with what you want haha. I'm a poor college kid and won't have money for these for another 4 years anyway. I'm not too worried about our cars looking too similar...yet.

Try something like Nogaro silver. Remember that the lip will still be polished so you get the bling factor there. Black on black in my opinion is to gansgta -if you want to call it that altough I think it's a stupid concept altogther- plus you are not riding on an escalade on 24's. Silver will probably be my first choice as the Gold is way too played out. What size di you get?

I have not bought yet. I will probably go with 17 or 18. With 18 I would really worry about hitting a pothole. I am still too undecided on the color.

I think only you, Jordan, and Mck - that is all I have seen yet. I am sure there are more.

I still have much love for your cab Ryan. That said, the way your car looked with them made my mind up. I love the gold - but on a black car i can only think of Smokey and the Bandit.

Those on the Lexis are hawt. I think it my car was diamond black I would be all over it.

guys - I am kind of leaning towards gold, or silver. I wish there was a finish like the M5 - smoked silver.
