    Break off lock bolt

I lost my adapter for the lock bolt for my wheels, I went to BMW and bought a new set but they told me there is 39 different adapters, and that I would have to take my car in for them for get the code and special order a new adapter. I'd rather not have to take that route. So does anyone know a way I could break off the bolt?

That's kinda a bad idea. Take the car in if that is what you need to do.

Pretty much any tire shop should have a set of these

Most good tool shops and snap-on/mac trucks have them as well.

In the past I have welded a nut to the top of the locks and used that to turn it out.

Yeah, Same, use a lock out tool, I used to charge $50.00 per wheel at my shop, and know that sometimes the guy behind the hammer with that socket may ding your wheels.

I found the adapter in my car, took me 2 hours, had to completely tear it apart. Thanks for the suggestions tho.
