    W/T combo 4 .H&R Race.Billy Sports.

I searched and searched for this question, maybe not hard enough.
    But here is my question.
I'm either gonna get billy sports with IE 3 springs, or H&R race.
will i be able to run say a 215/55/16 tire on a 16x7 wheel with no fender rolling?
second question... Can i run the stock or close to offset on wheels for those wheels and tires? Or do i need a bigger or smaller offset.

Sorry if it seems like a stupid question, but wheel fitment and related subjuects are definitely not my forte. Thanks for any help guys.

55 profile is WAY too tall for stock arches and a severe drop like the H&Rs or the IE3s give you.

you will need a lower offset wheel for good fitment and for good operation. I would trust high offset wheels under a severe drop.

My recommendation is get the billy sports and H&Rs or IE3s and get a wheel that is between a 15 and a 17 inch in diameter and look for an offset thats between 15 and 25.

I have two sets of 16x7 wheels with 33/35 offset and both get 10mm spacers. So effectively your ideal offset for a 16x7 is 20 to 25mm. For sizes, most people run 205/50s or 225/45s. Those of us with Azenis run 215/45. I ran a 205/55 snow tire all winter (E46 size, had some extras at the shop) but they were way to tall and rubbed, even with my coilovers all the way up. What wheels and tires were you thinking about running?

I'm about 5 or 6k (I think, I could be very wrong) in on them and I'm just about to hit the wear bars. I plan to pull them off soon and keep them as track/fun tires and run something more mundane on my BBS for the remainder of the year.

yeah i dont want a tire thats going to wear through to the bars at 6k. I need a tire that will last atleast 10-15k. Any suggestions for some DD sticky tires that might last a while?
