Black , gray or bare centers ?

So I'm debating wether to repaint the centers of my Rikens gloss black (which they were originally), or go with a dark gray like BMW's NogaroSilber or just leave them bare like they are in the pics below .

I'm liking the black as my Zinno car is already trimmed out in black and it would go well .....then again I'm leaning towards leaving them bare because it kinda looks grayish and I would not have to do anything else other than clean inside the spokes a little .

    Car in question :

And the wheels in question :

Keep in mind that this red car is just my current lowly daily and the wheels would most likely see duties on other cars in the near future .

Thanks for the input comment guys .
I've also never really been a fan of black mesh wheels but just thought they would go well on this red car since it has black accents already ....but I have a feeling that I'd tire of black soon as I never really liked it before .

Keep the input coming , I hope to have these refinished and mounted by Saturday as I'm using them in Sundays auto-x .

I voted Rob because I think you should go with gold centers and a polished lip.

Paint the centers black, polish the face, polish the lip. I think someone was calling it "valley style" or something on another car. Then you get the best of both worlds and have very little to work at cleaning the brake dust/road grime off of.

Blacked out/Nogaro'd out is cliché. Bare/silver centers with machined lip look tits, even polished lips would look nice.

OK definitely leaning towards leaving them bare at this point.
Sort of reminds me of the anodized centers on my Kinesis :

Or there is always the option to keep them old school Euro and paint the centers red. :p

As far as the polishing the lips ....well you have to understand these things were beat when I got them in trade.
Just this weeekend I stripped the paint and clearcoat then hit the lips with 0000-grade steel wool ...not quite polished yet but I'll hit them with a polisher soon enough.

Heres how they looked when i got them :

Not really feeling the black lips on the "valley style", although the painted insides and polished face style does look a lot like my Melbers :

Exactly why I said do it the "like" those but, polish the lip. It would look stoopid with a painted lip.
