Hi Gang,

Thought I would give a tip for the RS lovers out there on how I polish mine. This was passed onto me by Zane Coker in FL who owns the 1980 528i 700-800hp turbo monster, riding on 16" RS.

This Old English Polish works great. Rub it on with a cloth and it will get cloudy and black/grey smudges all over. Then buff the crap out of it with a clean, soft cloth. This is one of my rear 16x9 et24 BBS RS after polishing and buffing.

I just scored a pair of genuine 15" RS-047's from a friend. Straight barrels with a bit of rash for $0.00. You got it, nada. He was going to take these to be recycled!

With that said, I believe its a no-brainer to restore these bad boys (Gold centers & bolts). I am thinking 2" lips from BFI and 5mm spacers.

This fitment will work. Correct?

I got a set of RS047's on my 92 cabrio. im running 15mm spacers on the front and i plan on putting 20mm on the back to push them out as well.. looks pretty sick

Lots of scotch bright (red then green) , a toothbrush, aluminum bright, soap, water, about 4 hours of non stop scrubbing. That's about it. Any one know where I can get that fourth center cap and some new stickers?
