I have four BBS rs001 that were on a parts car that I bought. The kids that I bought it from had drifted it into a curb and pretty much destroyed one of the rims. This was the reason I posted earlier looking for one center. Yesterday I was able to take the bad rim apart and check it out a little closer. The barrel is bent beyond repair and the lip is smashed on two sides. To give you an idea on how hard they hit the curb, the impact was enough to bend the rear sub frame of the E30. Once I got the center separated from the lip and barrel I placed the center of the rim on a flat surface and found that it is bent about 3/8". There are areas of the basket that have been hurt also. My questions is do any of you have experience with repairing this type of damage. I thought that if it could be straightened and with the help of a tig welder built back up with aluminum then maybe I can salvage it for at least a spare.

If not I have been looking for one to replace it and so far the vw forum, ebay here and in Germany only have sets. Any other ideas guys?

So there's hope that they may be able to be repaired?:) Do any of you know a good wheel shop in So Cal? I put two of the good ones on the car we are building. Here's a snap shot.

15x7 et13 is a great size for an E30! a little more poke than euroweaves, and a retro design for the E30. Just wish I had a car to use them:roll:

My new BBS front valance, cam with some skirts the guy said were BBS, but they turned out to be zenders.

They look more like Epilsons than BBS. Remind me of BBS' e30, or e50 though.
