are the BMW style 5s made by bbs?

Some yes. I think there was a second company that made them for bmw also, but yes some are bbs's.

• Purchased from: Used from a guy named AJ in Hawaii
• Plans: Just had them powdercoated, plans are to mount them on Sat.
• Refurbishment/Polishing Methods: Powdercoat
• Price: Paid $1360 for the wheels, $330 in powdercoat and another $500 in new bolts, two new 1.5" lips and valves. Still have to get low profile bolt center caps and new BBS logos. I will have $2500 in them not including tires when I am all done.

on my old M5, I had 8x17 et 20 and 9x17ET 26, the fronts weighed 16lbs and the rears 18lbs...factory Style 5's are like 21/24lbs....
