    Hidden valve stem hitting tierod end...

    I'm having clearance issues with my hidden valve stem. It clears the brakes but hits the tierod end. I was thinking of flipping the tierod end upside down but that might mess up the steering geometry... or will it? Anyone know any good sites that sell flush mount valve stem kits? I would try running spacers but it might end up hitting the brake calipers instead.

    Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    wheel specs: BBS RM012 ET33 15x8

    wow i have never seen those, what did you do with the hole on the lip.

    sorry i can't help with your clearance problem, but flipping the tie rod is probably not the best idea.

          why not? people in the 4x4 community have been doing it for a long time. What difference does it really make? afterall the angle increases anyway on an extremely lowered car and you dont see people installing "bent" tie rods to correct it. As long as you do not have an extreme angle and you align the car properly after i see no problem.

            A big difference.

            And the flipping prcedure would require big modifications to strut or replace the tierod end with uniball joint, the fittitngs on tierod ends are conical.
