I have found the best tire for 17x8.5s

Everyones saying there are better tires, but for what? His may not be the bets auto-x or track tires, but I'm pretty sure they are intended to be street tires with excellent wet traction.

How are you liking them? I was thinking about a set on my e36 318ti daily. I live in Washington so wet traction and hydroplaning resistance are my main criteria, and those seem to do well in tests.

Those ltws look awesome on the e30, By far my favorite factory e36 wheels. I love the lip on those 8.5s, looks great.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I love the tires and they hold on very well for what they are.

The rear suspension is 318ti.

To be honest having a slightly taller sidewall on the front makes the car alot more predictable under spirited conditions. Behind my house is a great little road that leads to a little town called Virginia City NV. Every year the Ferrari Club of America hold a race up the road, so it is a decent road to test suspension on. I have run that a few times and I have to say that I am going to have to hit the track to find the limits of these tires.

Hydroplaning resistance is also a concern that I had when buying these tires. I may live in the Desert but when the rain comes it rains all at once. So far no issues in the rain at all.
