    website to calculate wheel offset with new lips?

    I'm messing around with the outer lips on my OZ wheels, and maybe I'm being a bit stupid, but how does one calculate the new offsets when messing around with the lips?

    Thinking out loud, thinking about throwing my 8.5" up front and getting some bigger lips for the 7.5" rims. How wide will depend on how low the offsets go, which I can't currently work out.

    (bear with me, I've just my ACL and I'm on masses of painkillers :) )

    Just subtract half of the added width from the offset.

    e.g. 17x7.5 ET20 -> 17x8.5 ET7 (1" added divided by 2 equals 12.7mm, so subtract that from original offset)
