Started rebuilding my Simmons V4 Mesh wheels recently.
This will be a long running thread with plenty of time between updates.
But anyway here is the story so far.
Australian made, Simmons 3 piece wheels, 4x100 PCD, 57.1 CB, about +20 ET. 15x7" with a 3" stepped lip. The lips were in excellent condition with only a few very slight grazes on 2 of them. The centers looked good from 10 feet, but up close you could tell they were spray bombed. BTW I paid $760 AU for them but the guy gave me $260 back because the tyres turned out to be rubbish (been sitting for 2 years)
I bought them about 2 months ago with the plan of one day rebuilding them as 16"s (the centers are the same size). But because of offset problems with 16" barrels, not wanting to run spacers, and since My car is an early model (soon to be m-tech 1.. [I've have an almost complete M-tech 1 kit sitting in the garage for ages.. which reminds me, I must get round to painting tha... um anyway!]) I decided to keep it old school and rebuild them as 15"s.
Here is how they looked when I bought them:
(from the eBay ad)

I did mount them on my car and take some photos but I cant seem to find them.. I'll post if I do
Any way I dropped them off to have he paint stripped about a week ago an picked them up today. Here are the results!

SOOO CLEEANN!!

This is the area I was talking about below:

slapped onto the lips:

Next to the car lol

Mad offset!
