Some more pictures to keep this alive

Had the tires taken off. Here is my collection of parts so far:

I have 4 center caps, but 2 aren't perfect so they will be replaced.

I am dead set on selling th 4" lips, so I decided to have a go at polishing them before hand to get a bit of extra coin. I started with 600grit and worked up to 1200, then machine polished with drill attachments and rubbing compound.

Results are not perfect, but they look 1000x better as you can see in the before after below.

It did however take me almost all of a day to acheive this, so I'm not looking forward to the other three...

stick with the 4" lips all around, you will regret selling them....

stretch the tires and you will be fine with the clearances...

another option is to make them all with the 4" lips and sell them to me :)

Nah, tires will be the last thing I buy. The the wheels are on the back burner for a while now though, I leave for Thailand in a couple days for a month.

As soon as I get back though, I'll be able to install my new suspension and finish my wheels. I cant wait!

I plan on getting goodyear eagle f1's BTW

What rubbing compound did you use to polish the 4" lips?
They look really good, you're definitely going to regret selling them.

I just used a generic metal polishing compound from the local hardware store.

                    Small update:

I just got a call from SIMMONS letting me know that my new lips are finished, and ready to pick up. Just waiting on the new bolts to be delivered and I can start putting these back together!
