e30 basketweave composition - alloy or aluminum?

Yeah, I may be pretty stupid for not knowing this, but anyways....

Whats the iX weave made from, aluminum? or is it an alloy?

i am going to have my weaves blasted....

so i want to know this so that I can decide whether to get them sandblasted or blasted with some other media (dry ice, bead, etc) ...

I'd have them media blasted. sandblasting can cause the surface of the metal to become wavy or pitted if done incorrectly or if there are imperfections in the metal.
