MB wheels on E30?

hey guys, i ran across a set of the "15 slot" 16" MB wheels. i realize they are 5 lug, and have high offsets (48ET or something), but i think they look really really cool with some rubberband tires on them.
i found a set on the vortex for sale, and was intrigued.


ive seen them on dubs before, but never our cars. does anyone by chance have any pics of them on E30's/E21's/E28's/ets? ive seen a few of you guys running porsche wheels with H&R adapters/spacers, and they look pretty good. even though these things are turning out to be a little more difficult to find than i had thought, if i dont have cash for some type A's in the spring, i may go for it.

opinions? input? they would go on an earlyl car with just GC coils. i personally think they're pretty classic looking wheels. and i never thought they looked so cool before seeing them with low pro tires.

EDIT: oh, does anyone know what these things are called? is there some nickname for them to help my search?

I've never seen a BMW with MB wheels that I can remember .

Easy enough to do though with the right width 5x112 to 4x100 adapter spacers .

ok, with a little research, they come in 2 sizes. the W129 SL's got them in 16x8. while all the other models that got them were in 15x6.5. ive found a few places that sell re-furb'd wheels for $180 a wheel. hmmmmmm. cool stuffs.

ive never used hub adapters, or even spacers. easy to bolt on, and take off again?

hmmm, ive seen these wheels on 4 lug dubs, but i see that H&R doesnt make an adapter from 4x100 to 5x112. hmmmm.

I think they would look good. However, cleaning them will ne close to that of bottle caps if not worse with those slots.

im seriously thinking about it. these wheels look pretty dope if you ask me.
i didnt contact H&R about 4x100 -> 5x112 spacers yet. i figure they will need to be roughly 30-35mm (?). i want to say these MB wheels are 16x8 +48. so putting it around +13 to +18 should fill the wheel wells nicely. add a touch of camber and and some 205's. it should look very, very nice. im saving for GC's before i really look into wheels though. but like i said, these are very high on the list.

oh, and the offset is +34. i mixed up the offsets with another wheel in an earlier post. doh!

4x100 to 5x112 is conflicting, one of the bolt holes overlaps.

i am not sure how "road worthy" this style of adapter would be, i personally wouldnt run anything like that on the street (maybe show only).

the adapters have to be a minimum of 20mm according to a shop i spoke with who makes custom jobs. at et34 you could get them made about 25-30mm and be golden. they would look sick.

I see no reason why these would be any different than other adaptors. It would be sweet if they made them 4x100-5x120.

These have a conflicting bolt hole so will a 4x100 to 5x120 adapter.
Something like the 4x100 to 5x130 adapter are completely diff they can be layed out where none of the bolt holes interfere with each other. That is why companys like h&r and fk produce only none conflicting style of adapters.
