Anyone know what tool is needed to remove the bolts from style 5's / BBS RC090?

    Thanks in advance.

not 100% on style 5's, but all the BBS multi piece wheels ive taken apart used a regular 8mm 12 point socket.

Thanks a bunch, I have to go to Sears to return a Christmas gift so hopefully I can pick one up from Craftsman.

I assume you are talking about the 2 piece wheels from late E39's etc. (they are all 5 lug). They have a smooth end at the bolt head & a slight indention on the head (on face of the wheel) - no socket will fit the bolt head - the bolt is held firm by splines on the top 1/4" that bite into the barrel. The nuts are on the back side of the wheel & are 10mm 12 point. After the nuts are removed, you will need a dead blow hammer to remove the bolts. Be very careful that you don't mess-up the bolt threads when hammering them out.

Yes, those are exactly the wheels I'm talking about. Thank you very much for the clarification on the nut size and the info on how to remove them. I was wondering how they worked exactly with the smooth bolt head.
