    What rims are these?

Okay, picking this car up next week, but who can tell me the correct identity of these rims?

So if you're saying they're Wal-Mart, I guess that means you guys shop for your wheels there? ;)

No, it means they chose the place in their minds that they figured had the crappiest, most generic wheel choices known to man. I agree with them. Hopefully you'll have some wheels waiting to go on it before you drive it home.

That's easy. Just tell him you'll show up with bottlecaps to swap onto it and you expect him to lower the price by $600. Then find a local R3Vver willing to help you out. :)

They look like Borbet type H knockoffs... the concept of this makes my mind hurt.

Exactly--I've got a set of steelies w/snows that I never put on my is yet, but I have a feeling he's full of shit and just trying to "instill more value" in the car since it has a bad slushbox. (I know, I hate an auto trans, but this way the wife will drive this and I can keep her from smashing up the is.) He was asking $1300, I told him $900 and he countered at $1000...I told him I'd think it over and just show up tomorrow with a tow dolly and wave $900 cash at him since he's not working right now and it's in his girlfriend's driveway.

But I'm taking the extra wheels along just in case...

Wal-Mart my ass! :) You bastards were wrong--got the spare out and looked at the back of the wheel and they're Mille Miglias and every wheel is perfect!

You couldn't afford my wife! Kidding--don't get pissed. Honestly, I'm not that crazy about them either, but they'd be easier to clean than my weaves, she likes 'em and the car cost me $800--just need to switch out the bad slushbox now...
