    Falken Ziex... Where to buy?

I need a replacement for one of my Ziex and I'm wondering if anyone knows a cheap place to buy tires online. It's a 205/60/r14 and the cheapest I have found is $54 at tires.com.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I found 'em for $54 each with free shipping from discounttiredirect.com:

Discount Tire Direct is retiring, but check out our partners at Tire Rack! With tires and wheels for virtually every vehicle make and model, Tire Rack is your new source for the best prices and selection for online and mail-order purchases.

But my local Wheel Works will match that, and they have them in stock, so that's where I am going.

Hey you know you can get Falken Azenis for about the same price?

Azenis? Actually they'd cost twice as much since you'd replace them twice as often...

I've had both so I can definately vouch for that. Apples to oranges comparison.

I just got my Ziex 512s installed today - my local Wheel Works matched the price from Discounttiredirect.com ($54 ea shipped for 205/60-14) and put on my rotors and pads for a little extra while they were in there.
Even after installing a cup kit and IE camber plates, they said that the car didn't need alignment - they claimed to have checked it, but I got no paperwork. They also didn't use the ATE super blue fluid that I gave them - should I make them do the brake fluid again?

On the bright side, these tires are fuckin' great. If I get 10k out of them I'll feel like I got my money's worth - They are going to have to get through a BMWCCA HPDE at Sears Point next month. Will they make it, or will I shred them?

I know they're completly different. I guess I was just thinking if it was me, I'd get the highest performance tire that I can for the money. It seems like they'd be a better choice for you too if you're going to be going to the track and it seems like you don't expect the tires to last long.

Don't worry about the brake fluid. It doesn't make much of a difference if you don't have really high performance pads.

The tires will be OK. Not great. They'll probably get pretty chewed up.

Thanks, that's about what I am expecting. Who has experience cashing in on a treadlife warranty? :)

Anyone have any other suggestions? I see that vulcan has them for $47 a piece for 195/65 14 but then shipping makes it about the same as everyone else....since its going to be for about 3 months till I put the other wheels on, I'd like the cheapest overall cost. And Yes this is me being cheap.
