they came off a 24 hour enduro mustang that was converted to 5 lug in the 1980s. 5x108 being a ford lug, makes that the most believable story i've been told lol -
The guy doesn't have them for sale officially, but i'm having his nephew buy a set here and there from him. So my goal is to slowly buy them all lolLeave a comment:

did you say the guy has more sets? If so, are you going to be buying all of them or can you let some r3vers have a chance at 'em?Leave a comment:

i'm still pretty young, so this whole wheel thing is new to me and any advice like that is really nice to learn. Thanks for the info and i'm pretty happy with my find lolLeave a comment:

Um, you measure bead to bead, those are actually 17x8.
As resident BBS wheel whore, those are mounted behind the centre, which is less common.
Definitely BBS E50's
They're a drop centre rather than a flat base so you can atucally mount road tyres to them (woot!)
They use a really old style of BBS mounting screw as well, so any idea what sort of vintage they are? Great score man!Leave a comment:

5x108 is a volvo, Jag and Ford bolt pattern. My guess is they were on an older Jag. IIRC there should be specs stamped on the back of the wheel that tell you the diameter and width.Leave a comment:

woah, those look a LOT like them... I finally got some measurements of them and they're 5x108s 18x9.5 my eye isn't as good as i thought...
Haha yeah i wish i did. I could try and see what my buddy has laying around and get back with ya.
lemme know. i'm really getting interested in these wheels. From what i've heard they were on that enduro mustang which was on the cover of some magazine and they only painted two of the wheels that white color for it...which sounds about right.i cant find the post, saw it yesterday, of these exact rims on a vintage racer. someone outside the us posted it. wait... maybe it was from inside the museum...
You can tell they have had good use on a legit race car because the center bore is scuffed from the center lug.Leave a comment:
