    The Enkie 92 Refurb thread

So basically I am working on a small refurb on the 92's I cleaned them up and on the worst one I set about wet sanding and re polishing the lip.

    When I first got them.

    when I first cleaned them.

set about fixing that a bit and the other various pits and such.

Set about wet sanding with 1500 grit wet/dry sandpaper.

Not perfect, but considerably less noticeable, I had to put my perfectionistness aside seeing that these wheels are going on a daily.

There is the finished product, now I have three moer to go although this one was in the worst shape. Im pretty satisfied for my first time wet sanding.

Next to an unfinished one, just to see the difference in lip.

    One more of the shinyness!

I will, I'm not sure about getting the gold repainted yet, they need it but I'm still deciding on that.

          Finished all 4

So basically, after what is quite a while (considering I was using hour long lunch breaks) I finally finished refurbishing the lips. They are not perfect but are considerably better, although they are going on a daily so perfection is not required. I don't have pics yet because I haven't had the chance. I finished the last wheel today on the clock (I got away with it).

I wish I could get these in 5x120. I think they would look rad on my Alpine.
