    SSR Type C fitment

Looking to fit a set of SSR type C's on a '89 E30 cab. From searching I see you can use a Mini Cooper or a first gen Miata fitment. What is required to make either of these applications fit a e30? Any input is appreciated.

Looking to run a 17x7.5, car is sitting on eibach springs, as far as offset goes I can choose from a 37 or 42mm offset. Has anyone run either of these offsets with the SSR's, and what did it take spacer wise to make it correct. Also any input on tire size is appreciated.

        Gonna need ~20mm spacers.

If you get the 42mm model and run 15mm spacers, you can actually run 235/40/17 tires all around. No idea if you wanted an answer that aggressive though, lol.

Will a 235/40 have any issues with hitting the strut, or rubbing in the rear? Is the 37 or 42mm the most optimum setup? Also any input on what spacers to use with the SSR's?

No issues. There is admittedly very little room for error though.

42mm is optimal, as you can then use the 100% safe 15mm hubcentric spacers. I recommend H&R.

I presume a 15mm spacer on all four? Also what size hubcentric ring do I need in the SSR's, to be compatible with the H&R spacers? Thanks for giving input here.

Yeah, all four. For the ring, find out what the SSR's centerbore is and get that outside with 57.1mm on the inside to fit the spacers/hub.

Whats the optimum tire size for the 37mm offset SSR's (17x7.5) with a 15mm spacer? There are no 42mm wheels left at Tire Rack.
