I can pretty much get them for free. But they all have been slightly bent but hold air fine except one. Is it worth it to get them cheap and fix them and throw them on the e30? The only issue is that they are 17" and if I do a billy HD/IE race springs combo will i be rubbin and all that fun stuff?
Worth fixing?

why would you do HD's on lowering springs? Unless you like blown shocks
Also to get the wheels refinished you are looking at 100-150 each, and unless you loved the wheels its not worth it on type c's.

that is a untrue rumor. They are the same shock minus the "drop" length.
see this thread.
And OP if you can fix them I would go ahead and do it. They are nice.Comment

Thats nice but the PO of my car made this mistake and the shocks were less then 18 months old and they were toast on HR sports. Me and everyone else with this same experience must be wrong :down:that is a untrue rumor. They are the same shock minus the "drop" length.
see this thread.

id love to rock these instead of my 16". the original finish of these rims is really nice, so if you could restore it, they would look great. can i has?
btw, these wheels are terrible performance wise. SUPER heavy. id imagine the 17s are 24lbs a piece or so.
