    I want to use 205 50 16 since I already have a set.

Just the slightest stretch, not really enough to notice.

I've got 205/50/16's on my 16x7.5 Borbet C's and they fit great. Dont looked stretched to me, but they dont look super meaty either.

you guys running any dropped spring setups with that tire size? im gonna run 225/45/17's probably for the summer buy I have a set of 205/50R16 pilot sport Alpines that I wanna use for the winter.. I was thinkin i could get a set of 16" OEM e46 wheels, I work at a stealer and we come across these rims all the time. People bend them alot and we sell them new wheels rather than straightening them.. so all the techs get left with random Bmw wheels. This is part of the reasoning behind my 5 lug swap..i can choose from so many wheel/tire combos

I've got them on a Spec E30 car right now, so they work just fine with Bilsteins/H&R Race springs.

225/45-17 is too big for an e30, and if you lower it you will have rubbing issues.

205/50-16 will fit without any stretch.
