    Steelies...

Does anyone know what the stock center bore is on these cars? I was planing on getting some Corrado steelies widend IE: 15x8 on the front and 15x9 on the rears untill I find and build my BBS's. As long as the center bore is the same as VW I am set.

yeah you can get steels lookn good. i had stretched stockies on my old Mk1 escort. (not euro stretch tho)

centerbore or 57.1, like all our wheels.

FWIW, steel wheels can be increased in diameter by 1inch. so you could get some 15in e30 stockies.

        you'll need spacers.

Steelies from G60 Corrado's are et 38 and would be a good idea on spacers. 15x6 with some good snows.

Yes those wheels are 5x100 since that MK3 is a VR6. I was just using them as an example. Does anyone else know what steelies would work better? IE: no spacers. I dont think BMW made any 4x100 15" steelies did they?

No 15" steelies in 4x100. So it would be either Opel,VW or Honda fitments with a center bore increased.

like i said, get e30 ones relipped to 15in with a wider rim section.

i got quoted something like 60$A per wheel. IMO, not too bad if you have a set of steels laying around and you want a neat original look, plus the ability to fit wider, lower profile rubber. this will be one of the first mods when i find a clean '02. the only problem with steels, is that they weigh a bit, and it only gets heavier once you start adding wider rim sections on.
