    Ah, now this makes sense.

how the heck do you drive on two coils???? are they at full compression all the time?

For comparison, here is another past E28 of mine, on full stock suspension, all coils there, no choppage, and it still managed to get that low. I can't imagine what two solitary lonely little coils would do, other than that Mike Borroughs tomfoolery.

Lol, he did it. Little by little, coil by coil. Ended up getting an e46 to DD, then sold Ethel.

Oh how he hates that e46 hahah. I'm fairly certain he was just sitting on bump stops, he never messed with any of the suspension besides the springs. All stock.

Haha yeah, he's been telling me about that car. I feel so sorry as mine hasn't done anything yet (115k). Just the thermostat. Doing the water pump next month.

            E28 news....

Nabbed a couple "A" pillar antennas off Volvo 245s at work. Seeing as I have paint work to do, I was thinking of shaving the antenna on the ass of the car and mount up an antenna on the "A" pillar.

            Thoughts?

I scoped it out, and a drill straight through at the bottom of the "A" pillar would pop me out under the dash, then just across with the wire to the head unit. Bend the antenna back a bit and it'll look like it was meant to be there all along. Of course, I would seal the holes appropriately....

Do you think it would look better there? Gonna be honest and its just my opinion but I feel like it would a lot of work for nothing or something that wouldn't look super good.

I do kinda like it. I mocked it up, I'll have to tape it in place and take a couple pics on my lunch. This is why I'm asking, I'm very apprehensive about drilling holes. Took me a couple months to get around to mounting my trunk spoiler.

Slammin's e28 was not bought. It just showed up in his yard one day beaten and neglected. He adopted it like a stray animal and turned it into a vicious one.

It's night and day. The B35 really wakes the car up, expecially with the M5 clutch and flywheel. I've got a 3.73 LSD to throw in it too, for that extra oomph. This is no highway cruiser.

Did some work last night on my exhaust. Not the best welds in the world, but A) they get the job done, B) this is my first time really welding with a MIG.

StoneSam has a video. Hopefully he'll get on here and post the test start up with the exhaust 1/2 way done.

I found that practicing writting words and number when using a MIG helped me control a little better...

regardless, yours are purpose only and will most def. do the job.

                                nice herpies welds.
