Idea to make my E28 more comfortable

So I've had this idea rattling around in my head for a couple months, and today I decided to give it a shot. Im taking styrofoam and some thin plywood to hand craft some cupholders that with be attached to my dash just above the glovebox.

They make a cup holder that just slips in under the center console and hold your drink alongside the trans tunnel.

Adding cup holders to e28s is bad karma bro. Hans knew what he was doing not putting them there.
