I'm doing a b34 swap on my 83 533i cuz the old motor hit 200k and you could defiantly tell she put in her work and over time so I decided to swap it. It's not the mots fantastic build ever but it's my first in MY own car so I'm a little excited.

Swapping my five speed onto the b34

Still have to bolt up my tranny and all that good stuff but the motor is in and on its mounts and electrically hooked up. Hopefully it should be done today. Oh and I forgot to mention, I let my buddy barrow my tool box for his motor swap so i did my whole swap with JUST my BMW tool kit...yea it sucked but it got done.

Had alot of miles and smoked alot when I started it, more then it should have atleast. I have a head gasket for it and all the other seals and studs I just decided to swap it because I wanted to boost my b34 instead.
