    e34 M5 touring?

I saw a nice touring the other day and did a double take when I saw an M badge on the grill. Is this real or another case of badge engineering?

I've seen a swap or two online, but it might have been badge confusion. I'd love to swap in a M//5 into the girlfriends wagon I got her. But I need to prioritize my funds. One day though.

They exist in the US. About as common as unicorns...

There are two genuine ones owned by guys in Cincinnati.

One is owned by one of the owners of Enthusiast Auto. It is an Individual car with a really bright blue paint on it.

The other is owned by a CCA member here who has an amazing private collection of rare BMWs.

I had an e34 touring that I had hoped to swap over that had the Euro M5 Touring interior in it. When that car was totalled, I sold that interior to the aforementioned collector so they could put it in a replica car that I believe his mechanic was building.

Todd's right - although there are actually at least 2 hanging around the Vancouver area.
