    Removing Touring Roof Rails

So one of the roof rails on my E34 Touring is peeling paint badly and a friend has a parts car I can get one off of. Question is, how does it come off? I looked under the rubber inserts for bolts, but nothing. Realoem doesn't show any hold down bolts and wondering if they just pry out? Has anyone replaced one?

Okay--just found out they DO bolt in and you have to remove the headliner to get access to the bolts.

Looks like I'll be painting them on the car. ;)

That's where I looked first, but there was no info listed.
