New oil pan gasket for the M30... That took a lot longer than I thought it would. Next up is some new bushings for the front end to kill the vibrations I'm getting.

Put the last of my parts on the car. Now I have it up for sale. Gonna miss it.

I need to do this, but I'm scared of fucking something up.

As long as you hear them tick you're fine. Too tight = no ticking = burned valves.

The thing I found most challenging about the M20 valve adjust had nothing to do with the valves, and everything to do with that hose attached to the valvecover underneath the intake.

My M30 sounds like an army of sweatshop sewing machines sometimes. I need to grow a pair and do it. People say it's pretty straight forward.

I wait until people ask me if the car is a diesel.

It really is a cinch though. Make sure you check your banjo bolts while you're in there.

I used the mye28 method of measuring .008 go/.010 no-go on the cam side. Much easier than measuring on the valve side. I will check my space on the valve side after adjusting to the cam side though. Better safe than sorry.

The bitch broke down on me today so I changed the fuel filter and now she is good to go again. Washed it too.
