Curious... Will Camaro shocks on the e34 work?

I know e30 guys put the camaro shocks in the e30's - I know this because I have them in mine and I actually love them! Very sturdy and stiff for the price. As far as I know, the e34 rear shock design is somewhat similar. I was wondering if these would fit the e34s for a cheaper and durable alternative to say Bilstein. If the Camaro shocks wouldnt work in the rear - what about another car shocks (i.e. rear mr2 inserts for the front of the e30)?

I want to do a suspension upgrad in my e34 touring but want a nice stiffness thats durable without spending too much money. And there seems to be not enough out there for e34s used suspension wise from what I see.

E30 uses a spring with a seperate shock, e34's have a coilover shock. So, I would say it wouldn't work.

You would need some sort of custom perch for the spring... I have a friend selling a full set of e34 H&R's with Bilstein sports for like $400 or something if you are interested.

          914 rears work on e28s. Don't see why they wouldn't on e34s.

Really? As far as I remember - the rear of the tourings had a separate location for the spring which didnt go on top of the shocks; I thought the spring was on the trailing arm like in the e30 - but I guess I remember incorrectly.
