Hi all,
Normally would have chosen an E30 but this came at a good deal so couldn't resist. Just returned from 2.5 years abroad and back to the shop so i need a DD quick. Will get it to a nice sell-able state and then sell it in a few weeks.
However, I can see it growing one me ;)
1993 525i 5-speed. 203k miles, Island Green on Parchment
Front end and drivers side damage. Already has a new, unpainted fender and bumper on it. Still need to source matching doors but no hurry on that.
Remus exhaust, Dinan chip, H&R with Bilstein sports.
Missing all lights, all the way around :shifty

First night of work, needed some motivation
Cleaned engine bay
Rewired drivers side for smilies
After first day
Passenger side glass just FELL off when trying to install so here i am prying out the old sealant
New bead
Glue dried and powdercoated black rings on
Stock 4-spoke HAD to go
Euro Wheel (I believe its a Euro M5 wheel) fits but needs a little modification. I will not have the airbag connected
The horn post won't contact the ring, gets held up by the plastic ring between first and middle contact rings
First step, dremel a slit in the middle of the post so it will contact the first ring
Second step, dremel a small slit where it sits in the steering colums so you can rotate it 90 degrees
Finished product, oh yeah
Thats it for now. Hope to have enough to fill another update in a week or two,
