If I sold mine, at the current Price level, I would make around 3500,- plus what I paid for it.
It was cheap, even in Germany I couldn't find one at same Price level, without it beeing almost eaten up by rust.

I sold mine for 4800.00. 87 535is 146.000 miles royal blue/tan interior,factory bmw tan sheepskin seat covers,power seats, 5 speed,Billy sports f&R,racing dynamic f&r springs- f&r sway bars-front strut bar-urethane everything front and rear,Real BBS rs 003 front 16x7 rear 16x8. Upgraded complete stereo system.A/C and heater worked bitchin, Bought it from the original owner and my customer as well. He also has an 95 audi s4 5 cylinder manual trans he is going to sale soon too.

I've seen an E28 535i sold for 11.904 USD, here in Denmark.
They are really rare, even here in Europe, and prices are rising.
And if you find a fine one, they'll cost a lot.
I was Lucky to find mine at an extremely low Price.
I paid 3.663 USD for this car, and I could sell it tomorrow for as much as 9.000 USD, even if it's just 525i 5 speed manual, having 100.040 miles on the odometer.
But I'm not going to sell this one.

Just last night I Again was questioned wich kind of BMW it is.
