Need opinionson buying this car. ACS goodies.

So i am thinking about picking up this 1990 525i with some ACS goodies. Interiors super clean, been kept up pretty well. It's a five speed with black leather interior. 230k miles. What should i pay for a car like this? Don't know much about e34s, owned several e30s though. He's asking 3400 for it, but i got down to 3.

The only problem is that it has the m20 which is kind of underpowered for the car.

I'm use to that motor honestly, In the long run i would want to swap it for a 24v of sorts. The m20 is a good engine, it's just out dated as hell. Otherwise though the car is a good deal?

If the maintenance is up to par, I say $3K is pretty solid for a car with all those ACS bits.

Yeah it's a good looking car and i really like it. Hoping my e30 sales in time to buy it.
