    Yes dear...

Today I made the mistake of telling my wife that i was bored, so she asked me to clean the house...i´ll do it later

I was going through pictures of my half abandoned E34 and was inspired to finish her off by X-mas. Also started a blog to keep me busy during my no-worky days.

Taken last summer near a squatter encampment

    Taken today getting new tires.

    Getting the alignment afterward

Needed to change the radiator due to leaks. Look at the crap that accumulates over time.

I always manage to look at the ODO just in time to catch stuff like this.

One thing less to do, these are in the mail.

Should help spruce up the front end. After that, all that´s left to do is throw on some Eibach Sportlines and Bilsteins, an EAT Chip and fix the rear door cards.
Once it´s finished i can look for another project, Boxster maybe?

Did you get DEPOs or OEM Hella/Bosch? If you got the DEPOs, let me know what you think of them. I'm considering getting them.

They´re DEPO´s. I installed a set on my E30 a year ago and they´re holding up ok so far.
The E34 needed them far more though. The current lenses are really pitted and one is cracked. I´ll post pictures of the install once i get them.

          Awesome.

My current lights were "upgraded" to HID's by the previous owner. He dremeled out the reflector housing and then gorilla glued the bulbs into place, followed by filling the entire back of the housing in with blue silicone. Needless to say, I need new lights.

If you like the smoked look but still want HID´s you can find them on that new fangled e-auction website. They´re not that expensive either.
I would have liked to go that route but they´re illegal here unless they came on your car from the factory.

Not at all interested in HIDs. Stock projector housing are not designed for the type of light an HID bulb puts out, meaning you get worse output from them than if you ran regular bulbs.

I plan on running a set of +50 bulbs from danielsternlighting.com and be done with it. I can't imagine ever needing more light than that, but I do have excellent night vision, so some may disagree.

I guess these are the same as the Philips Vision + H1 Bulbs ?. I replaced the old bulbs on the e34 when i bought it but the lenses are so far gone that the only difference was the change in color. The new lenses should be a huge improvement.

According to the Daniel Stern site, they are not made by the same people, but put out the exact same light, both amount and quality. There are several bulbs that are virtual identical.

Headlights showed up today! I opened the box briefly to take a look and surprise surprise, they´re not DEPO, but HELLA.
I´ll take a better look at them tonight and post some pictures.
