will a strut housing from an e23 bolt onto e34 or e28?

This is the reason why I ask, pulled from the local yard for very cheap :D
I planned to get an e34 or e28 in the near future, these will come in handy if it does fit.

Looks like e23 is e23.

E28 and e28 based e24 are the same.

E34 fits e34 and e32.

You can probably change out the plate on the bottom of the strut housings to run them. I ran e28 struts on my e34 once upon a time

What about the rear? Does e28 and e34 have the same mounting point??

The upper mount plates Moosehead makes fit both.

Part #s don't cross, e28 to e34, but I think, based on pictures, they'll fit.

Could be wrong, but they bolt thru the bottom the same.
