    Will the g260 from a 325 work in e34 535i?

    I have done some searching with no results.
    I have the opportunity to pick up a 535i for super cheap due to bad trans.
    I have a 120k mile g260 in my possession
    Im thinking about fixing the car with my mint trans and using it as a DD and tearing down the e30to take care of some long awaited improvements.

    Anybody have any experience in this?

        Sorry the m20 that the 325 had has a different bolt pattern for the bell housing then the m30 in the 535i does. So any car with a m30 will work. Which 535i are you looking at e34 or e28?
