Here is a pic of the test fit:

This does require metal cutting if you have a standard back seat, but the woofer and ports come through the ski pass. As in all of our designs, 100% of the bass is sealed into the cabin. This provides far better sound quality, much higher efficiency and to some, the biggest bonus of all: NO RATTLES.

So, as soon as we have better pics, we will get some up. They will be fully independant reviews upholstered either in black for the upcoming amp rack or in factory match gray.

Here is the deal: we are doing an initial run of 12 at a discounted price of $200 plus shipping. After this initial run, we will be showing these on our site at $239.

We are building these as we speak and will be shipping this coming week.

Please feel free to PM either me or JustinB or email us at sales AT germanaudiospecialties.com if you have questions.

    Thanks!

Hello nice to see your workout. I need speakers but the price is bit high for me. I will try for some lower priced speakers and if can design it for me, it would be great

It sounds amazing! You seriously wont be disappointed. My poor old w3 is getting pounded on daily because I just cant get enough of the amazing sound lol. Cant wait to get a fresh sub in there and see how much better it gets!

You have plenty of room to cut a little bit more metal away there. From the far sides of the hole on the face, which is already wider than the ski-pass there's 2 more inches of foam to the left and right. Trimming the sides 1/2 to 3/4" wider certainly wouldn't hurt the seal.

When you remove the rear seat you will see the intended area to be cut out had the factory cut it out for a ski pass to be there. We followed that line and above is how it came out. I plan on trimming it around the entire arm rest so you dont see the metal at all. But only if there is enough foam around the baffle to keep a good seal.

Something you might want to keep in mind Justin.

I believe the hole in the pictures above in Keiths car is the stock skipass hole in the metal, but cut out not punched out. If you don't want to see the metal there, it could be just trimmed back a little bit.

Did you have dsp ? Did you remove the dsp "nokia subs". Have you redone the front setup ?
I do not have DSP so no factory subs. Only mods are Hertz 5 1/4" woofers up front ran off the factory amp/crossover, a kenwood KVT 696 deck, and the sub and mono-block amp. The rest is stock. Even the mids and tweets in the front doors, I just havent hooked up the hertz tweeters because the factory ones are just fine until I get a proper 4 channel and my Focal 6.5's in there.

For the guy asking how I wired it, like I said above, I have an aftermarket deck so I ran an RCA and signal wire to the trunk. But you can run a line out converter from the factory amp and also grab the signal wire for amp turn on right in the trunk. Its really simple. In that case, Id recommend a bass level control knob so you have better sub volume control rather then just the bass adjustment on the MID.

I mean how does the sub gets its signal? Is it tapped into the existing factory audio the same way as (or similar to) the BSW box?

What exactly do you mean? Because you see no amplifier? Keith is running deck power to his speakers, then with an amplifier hidden in his spare tire well for the sub. That's why there's just a wire trailing down the box to under the trunk carpet.
