So I bought a 1989 535iA and the PO restored this car. He was very meticulous (a CAT heavy equipment mechanic for past 30 years) and he gave me an auto transmission to go with the car in the sale that he rebuilt. He told me it was an extra just in case the one in the car fails (he rebuilt the one currently in the car and it shifts great with no issues).
I am selling this extra transmission because I have no need for it. I plan on swapping this car to a 5-speed soon. The only thing this tranny needs is a speed sensor.
