Quick question here. My 99 e39 touring is throwing the p0740 code. It drives perfectly fine. In fact I just took it on a 400 mile trip and it didnt stutter once. But i have a new TCC solenoid for it and heres my question. If i pull the solenoid out will atf rush out? or is it separate from the lube? I know where it is on the trans but I have yet to get the car on the lift, only had it a week, and am wondering if i need to order a trans filter, etc. before i install the solenoid or if i can do the solenoid now and the filter next week.
