Is anyone familiar with the IR keyless entry used on the Euro e34, not the radio system used in the us. My father purchased a 93 525tds touring. It has the remote key & the light on the key lights up when buttons are pressed. The mirror had wires going to it so I think the correct mirror is installed. The owner's manual says if the key sync is attempted with the door open the system will lock & need to be unlocked by the dealer. My launch scan tool reads the dwa as in disabled status & both front door switches as faulty, so I suspect this is the issue. But my launch does not have the option to release the dwa. Short of trying to find a working dis laptop to try does anyone have any ideas?
