    Steering noise

    Hey Guys,

After I lowered my car I get a clunking noise in the front when steering at low speeds. No noise if the front end is jacked up. Any ideas?

    Thanks so much

Did it start right after you lowered the car or are you just tossing that in there? If it happened right after, i would check that you assembled the struts correctly and that everythings tight.

Lowered cars tend to go through ball joints a bit faster than stock because there is more load on them and they are outside of the designed articulation range depending on how low you are, so they may be shot.

            Ok thanks guys

Yeah, it start right after I lowered it. Maybe they were bad before had and lowering the car just put enough stress on them to start making that noise?

I went back and checked the strut assembly, everything looks ok, maybe the spring is a tiny bit off or something?

            I'll check again.
