So we had a little incident with a power surge after my kid took off the power cable from the alternator without disconnecting the battery. After the alternator was out the cable touched ground on the block and sparks went flying a couple of times. Ever since then the Anti Lock light has been on. This leads me to believe that the relay protecting the ABS computer blew according to research on the issue. Now here is our dilemma. The car is a 1989 325is and according to realoem we should have 2 relays on top of the ABS pump and a 3rd relay on top of the ABS computer under the dash. We have the 2 on the ABS pump but there is no relay under the dash by the ABS computer. Also the wire loom coming out from the computer goes straight out through the firewall without any spliced cable going to a separate location where a relay should be according to realoem. Pictured are the 2 relays from the top of the ABS pump. Any help would be fantastic
