    Turner Motorsports Reinforcement Kit

So I just got mine in the mail last night, front subframe only, from looking at the pics/directions, it seems it would be a pain in the ass to put the nut on the back of the motor mount for the 24v swap guys.

Any of you 24v swap guys have this kit? Am I just looking at it wrong?

Yes, I installed the front reinforcement kit. I had to modify the hole, because the Turner kit's bottom plate assumes you'll use the inner holes to install the engine mounts. This works fine in regular E30s, but not on 24v swap cars running E28 mounts.

So, you need to shift the hole over. I used a drill and die grinder to enlarge the hole. I had to use an offset box wrench to tighten the engine mounts. It's a tight fit.

I installed it as-is on another car, but it has a regular E30 engine in it.

That's exactly what I figured. Guess I'll have to get it welded up, then take the mount to it and modify it, then have it stripped and powdercoated.
