Here's a review thread of ZoomZoomZoom-ing on ebay. Seems like most of the complaints are related to bad seat frames & mechanisms in his refurbished sport seats. The upholstery itself looks decent but make your own judgment

Wow damn thanks for the heads up
My plan was to buy the kit and do the job my self
taking care of what ever the seats need at the time
will definitely have to rethink this

There's a few companies offering upholstery kits for e30 seats. Search on the interior forum, I remember a few good threads on some of the different companies offering kits for decent price. https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/for...metic/interior

The upholstery kits from ZoomZoomZoom-ing look decent and probably still an option if you can't find anything else. Like I mentioned, I think a lot of the complaints against him were in regards to the quality of the seat mechanics and business practices. Rather than the quality of the upholstery.

There has been a few upholstery guys on this forum over the years for one reason or another turned out to be really flaky with getting their orders out. I think they just got overwhelmed and because they have a very unique skill they had a lot of demand. I'm not going to mention names but R3V OG's here will know two guys who did quality work but ultimately left a lot of their customers down to say the least.

I'll update this post when I find the vendors who are still offering seat kits. Been a couple years since I looked so I'm curious myself

BTW, why don't you tell us more about the seats you are recovering? What color is your leather? black, natur tan, indigo blue, cardinal red?

I went with a DIY kit from Lseat.com. Others on this site had used them with decent results and I’ve been 90% happy with what I got too. Two things that I wasn’t completely happy with: the material for the seat backs - which isn’t leather - was just too small for me to get it to wrap around cleanly and the material between the seat and the thigh bolster is shorter than the original. The bolster still moves all the way out but the material is almost flat when it is extended.

I have yet to do anything about the carpet. It’s still tan.

Oh also, I used about twice as many hog rings than I got with the order.

Man that’s the thing, I think it’s beige
have no clue, will get a pic so the brains here can enlighten me. I do have the original window tag but I don’t think it has the interior color
side note this car was expensive as F back I the day
I forgot about Lseat , will check that out as well
            thanks for the responses

I think convertibles only came in natur tan leather. I don't think pearl beige was an option for verts but I may be wrong

You could go to one of the BMW VIN decoder websites to know for sure
